Our take
The AW2725D is a stunning gaming monitor. The QD-OLED panel delivers incredible colors and perfect blacks—the 1.5M:1 contrast ratio makes HDR content pop. At 280Hz, everything is buttery smooth, and the 0.03ms response time eliminates ghosting. G-SYNC and FreeSync work flawlessly. The 27-inch size with 1440p is the sweet spot for gaming. My only concern is the brightness at 1000 nits typical, but it's plenty bright. The stand offers full ergonomics. For $549.99, it's a premium investment, but if you want top-tier gaming visuals, this is hard to beat. Beware of potential burn-in with OLED, but Dell includes a burn-in warranty.
