Our take

I've been using the AW3420DW for a while, and the ultrawide format is fantastic for immersive gaming and multitasking. The 3440x1440 resolution provides sharp detail, and the 120Hz refresh rate, while not top-tier, is smooth thanks to G-Sync. The IPS panel has good colors and viewing angles. Build quality is solid, with a sleek white design and cable management. However, at $450, it's expensive for a 120Hz monitor when 144Hz+ options exist. Also, the 2ms response time is fine but not the fastest. The lack of HDMI 2.1 means no 4K support from consoles. Still, for a curved ultrawide with G-Sync, it's a solid choice.
